Jesus spoke of counting the cost eloquently while he was on earth. He said, a man intending to build a tower ought to know whether he has the resources to complete the project, otherwise, he will stop on the way and becomes an object of ridicule. We know that there is luck. In fact luck is one of the fundamental elements of life, but luck has a limitation. Luck cannot take one down the line. You need to be well prepared and armed for the task, otherwise, you will make a mess of it; and bring ruin and disaster on the people and the system, instead of development and progress. Youths, especially would like to envy and take the place of the super stars, without knowing what it costed the super stars to get there.
